One-on-One Nutrition Personalized to you

Nutrition is the very foundation of our health and wellbeing. In Dr. Namrata Chansarkar’s opinion, food is medicine. What we put into our bodies plays a direct role in the way our cells, organs, and overall system functions. Proper nutrition plays a key role in healing in almost any internal disorder. Not only digestive and cardiovascular conditions can be a result of improper nutrition and food choices but also conditions such as skin rash, sinusitis, headaches, pain and autoimmune diseases.

With her masters in Western Nutrition and doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Namrata Chansarkar is able to assess and create a holistic custom nutrition plan. She also works with patients on developing mindful eating habits.
Nutrition programs she offers are multi-faceted, providing a wide variety of services tailored to each patient’s needs. During initial evaluation, Dr. Namrata Chansarkar determines each patient’s current nutritional status based on blood work, physical exam, and current signs and symptoms integrating the eastern and western nutrition concepts.

This personalized consultation focuses on whole food nutrition as well as using foods to help heal disease. Specific food items, custom menu plans, and healthy food preparation is discussed.

On a daily basis, Dr. Namrata Chansarkar sees many patients who walk into her office with shopping bags full of different products purchased from infomercials, Amazon, Costco, or a local drug store. Vitamins, herbs, and natural supplements are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), many products that are available over-the-counter (OTC) are poor quality and in some cases, can even be more harmful than helpful. In addition, an inappropriate supplement for you it can do no good but harm you. So, beware of this and take professional advice. In her practice, Dr. Namrata Chansarkar will review your most recent blood work in order to address specific nutritional deficiencies. Current medications and supplements are reviewed and accordingly custom recommendations are made for vitamins and supplements if needed.
